Dog Boarding and Training in Rogersville

dog boarding in Rogersville

We have VIP Boarding Options!

Looking for truly personal in-home boarding and training in Rogersville or the Springfield area?

At Precious K9s, we keep numbers small on purpose, only boarding only 3 or 4 dogs at a time. And we’re selective about who we take on, as we want each dog to get the best we have to offer.

Boarding and training in Rogersville, within our home, allows us to provide your dog with a familiar environment while we work with them. They aren’t learning lessons that they will have difficulty integrating into their lives when they leave. It will look and feel much like your home, with ordinary living spaces.

Our facilities are situated on six peaceful acres adjacent to our small business, Pruners Tree Service. The dogs we board and train enjoy daily walks and a level of interaction that meets both your requests and their needs.

For example, if your dog needs to be socialized, we can provide it with opportunities to meet the staff from our tree service. However, if your dog requires a quieter setting, we can offer them one-on-one attention with just us.

We are currently building cabins that will be incorporated into our board and train programs. But for now, all dogs must be crate-trained for their safety and well-being.

Whether social or shy, your dog will feel safe, loved, and engaged during their stay at Precious K9s.

Everything will be structured fun:

  • Walking to and from the car
  • Going on walks
  • Getting in and out of the crate
  • Playtime (with and without other dogs)
  • Training time
  • Supervised yard time
  • Brain games

Things we can work on:

  • Basic Training
  • Home and Public Behaviors
  • Obedience
  • Coming When Called
  • Off-Leash Training
  • And more!

Add-on Service Descriptions:

Training or enrichment sessions, with boarding only, will be 20-30 minutes long. Board and Train already includes this service. These can be either a training session, extra play, walks, enrichment games or toys etc. If you don’t have an idea of what you want, we have a thousand ideas! $40 each

Baths during your dog’s stay:

Mud happens, so your dog may sometimes come home smelling like a dog that has been playing in the yard. If this is a concern to you, we are happy to offer you exit baths. We don’t do any grooming, but we can send them home smelling better than my backyard. $25-50 each

Otherwise, baths will only be given if they accidentally soil themselves.

Private Coaching Sessions can help transfer the training from me to you. It gives me a chance to let your dog show you what they know! Let’s not kid ourselves, dog training is for the human as well as the dog. 🙂 $180 each

Call or email us to ask ALL the questions!

“If you pick your dog up from any program, daily or after weeks, and they act like a different dog, something isn’t right. You should NEVER feel like you “have a different dog” after training with a basic training facility. The only way big change even makes healthy sense is after months and months of work. Animals need time to change habits. We all know habit-changing doesn’t happen overnight.”

Our goal is to help you have a WELL-TRAINED dog, not just a semi-trained dog. A few months of intensive training can make all the difference in the next 10+ years.
